Neutering Su
Two weeks and one paycheck after Sulis’ first vet visit we were back for the operation. Su was a little more relaxed in the car the second time around, but it appeared that the motion made him wary.
The small rabbit was as brave as could be when I left him in the vet’s care. We had only been together for a few months and yet it was hard to leave knowing that such a small animal was going to undergo such a big procedure. I thanked the vet and went to the movies, vowing to be back in a few hours to pick up my pet.
When I got Su back he was lethargic from the anesthesia. The vet told me that everything went well, and that Su was a very well behaved rabbit. He told me to keep an eye on him as he healed to make sure that he was not pulling at the groin area. I paid my bill and brought my confused friend home.
